Meet a purpose-built edge switch that blends Cisco’s proven Catalyst reliability with the modern needs of intent-based networking. The Cisco Catalyst C9200L-24PXG-2Y Ethernet Switch is designed for branch and small-to-medium deployments where robust security, scalable performance, and straightforward management are non-negotiable. Built on the Catalyst 9200 family, this model delivers a balance of power, efficiency, and intelligence that helps IT teams extend secure, policy-driven connectivity from the campus core out to the edge. Whether you’re upgrading an aging access layer or deploying new IP phones, cameras, wireless access points, or IoT devices, this switch provides the port density, PoE capabilities, and resilient operating system features you need to keep operations smooth and secure.

  • Intent-based networking ready: Designed to extend Cisco DNA Center and Catalyst 9000 innovations to a wider set of deployments, the C9200L-24PXG-2Y enables centralized policy enforcement, simplified provisioning, and consistent QoS across wired edge devices. This means faster rollout, fewer manual errors, and a network that adapts to changing business needs.
  • 24 PoE-enabled access ports: The C9200L-24PXG-2Y offers 24 x 1G PoE+/PoE-capable ports to power IP phones, access points, cameras, and other edge devices directly from the switch. This reduces the need for separate power adapters and keeps cabling tidy while delivering reliable power to critical devices at the edge.
  • 2 x 10G uplinks for flexible connectivity: Equipped with two 10G SFP+ uplink ports, this switch provides high-capacity connections to distribution or core layers, ensuring ample bandwidth for converged services, virtualization, and growing edge traffic without creating bottlenecks.
  • Secure, resilient hardware and software: Built to protect your edge, this model supports advanced security features, including integrated threat-aware policies, secure management, and scalable software options. Cisco’s IOS XE-based architecture underpins a hardened, stable platform with long-term software support and dependable performance in branch environments.
  • Simple, scalable management: From a single pane of glass, you can configure, monitor, and troubleshoot devices across the edge. The switch is designed for straightforward CLI or GUI management, with options to integrate into automation workflows and Cisco DNA Center for policy-driven automation and lifecycle management.

How to install Cisco Catalyst C9200L-24PXG-2Y Ethernet Switch

  • Unbox and inspect: Check the package contents for the switch, power options, mounting rails (if applicable), and accessories. Look for the console cable for initial setup and a basic power cord suitable for your region.
  • Rack or desk placement: Install the switch in an appropriate rack or set it on a stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation and away from sources of heat or moisture. If mounting in a rack, align the rails and secure with screws as per your rack guidelines.
  • Power and cabling: Connect the power supply and verify that the switch powers on normally. Run the 24 PoE-enabled ports to endpoint devices or PoE injectors as needed, and connect the 2 x 10G uplinks to your distribution or core switches. Use quality Ethernet cables to maximize performance and reliability.
  • Initial startup and console access: Use the console cable to access the switch’s CLI for initial configuration. Set basic parameters such as hostname, management IP, and secure access credentials. From here you can also enable SNMP, logging, and NTP for time synchronization and monitoring.
  • Configure for intent-based networking: If you’re using Cisco DNA Center or similar automation, import the device, apply policy templates, and enable features that align with your security, QoS, and segmentation requirements. Establish trust boundaries and group policies to ensure edge devices operate within defined parameters.
  • Deploy and monitor: Once configured, monitor port activity, PoE budgets, uplink health, and device health through your preferred management interface. Validate that critical devices (phones, cameras, APs) are receiving power and data is flowing as intended.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.

Stepbrothers, Secrets, and Sizzling Heat
Format: Kindle
Twisted Lies by Roxy Collins is a wild ride through family secrets, amnesia, and a steamy stepbrother romance. When Kelly discovers her life is built on lies, she ends up tangled with three alpha stepbrothers and an assassin who once helped her through a heat. The tension? Off the charts! The heat is real, and the complications are messy in the best way. Full of twists, secrets, and fated mates? You'll be hooked from page one! Love omegaverse drama with a dash of taboo? This one's for you!

Good read
Format: Kindle
The book has some good twists and turns, but truthfully I was so confused on some things. It didn't have a good flow for me personally. Not sure if it's due to typos or using him/her wrongly, but I thought Kelly was both a guy and a girl. Actually I still don't know, and it made me incredibly frustrated. It would refer to Kelley as him or he, and then again in another part of the story as her she and sister. On to the next book, I hope there is some clarity and a smoother flow. This is a slow burn, and I just don't know how much I care for the Alphas yet. Idk if I recommend.

the lies
Format: Kindle
This is amazing fast pace read that is full of plot twists and lies that keep getting bad. This is a story we’re a omega has been lied to by her mother and finds out that someone is slowing dieing. 3 alpha take the omega and feed her more lies so they can use her against her father so they can find their mate Kelly. This is a dark read and ends in a cliffhanger and so good.
