Er verhindert dass Dartpfeile die neben das Board geworfen werden die Wand oder den Dartpfeil selbst beschädigen. Alle Dartboards bieten wenig Platz vom Doppelfeld bis zum Rand des Boards. Darum ist es wichtig dass Fehlwürfe vom Surround abgefangen werden. Deine Pfeile bleiben einfach im Surround stecken und fallen nicht zu Boden.
