Bag of Bones
Bag of Bones: One day you look in the mirror and there it is… old age. Instead of getting all depressed about something I have little control over, I figured I’d write a song about it. ‘Bag of Bones’ is song about how I was feeling at the time. I’ve written some severely depressing songs over the years and figured it was time for a humorous one. If you don’t laugh at this song, you must be way too serious. I had one person tell me this song was depressing for them… I think it was too close to home. Most of the time people are laughing so loud, I sometimes have to stop performing because I can’t contain myself, and end up laughing with them. It’s a fun, light-hearted look at the human body after a certain age. If you’re under fifty years old… it’s coming. If you’re over fifty years old… it’s here.
